WIFI又稱為無線網路，是一個以IEEE 802.11標準訂定的無線區域網路技術。透過WIFI，可以讓行動裝置、電腦等設備連接上無線網路，讓使用者可以不受空間限制，運用網路進行辦公、社交與娛樂。
WiFi, also known as wireless network, is a wireless local area network (WLAN) technology based on the IEEE 802.11. Through WiFi, mobile phones, computers and other devices can be connected to the wireless network, allowing users to use the internet for work, socializing, and entertainment without being restricted by space.
WIFI7、WIFI 6 、WIFI 5的名稱，是簡化IEEE 802.11而來的，例如：最早的IEEE 802.11標準又稱作WIFI1、IEEE 802.11ac 稱作WIFI 5、IEEE 802.11ax則稱作WIFI 6，IEEE 802.11be則稱作WIFI 7，差別主要在於不同代的網路技術。
WiFi 7, WiFi 6, and WiFi 5 are simplified from the IEEE 802.11. For example, the earliest IEEE 802.11 is also known as WiFi 1; IEEE 802.11ac is called WiFi 5; IEEE 802.11ax is called WiFi 6; and IEEE 802.11be is called WiFi 7. The differences mainly lie in the network technologies of different generations.
