什麼是連接器? What is Connectors?

同軸連接器,(有的人也稱它為射頻連接器或RF連接器),是連接器的一個分支,有連接器的共同性也有它的特殊性。同軸連接器有內 / 外導體, 內導體用於連接信號線而外導體不僅是信號線的地線,也起到屏蔽電磁場的作用(屏蔽內部電磁波對外部的干擾通過外導體內表面起作用,屏蔽外部電磁場對內部的干擾通過外導體外表面起作用),這種特點賦予同軸連接器很大的空間和結構優勢.

Coaxial connectors, also known as RF connectors or RF coaxial connectors, are a branch of connectors with both common characteristics and specific. They consist of inner and outer conductors, with the inner conductor used for signal transmission while the outer conductor serves not only as the ground for the signal line but also provides electromagnetic field shielding. This shielding capability, which blocks internal electromagnetic waves from interfering with external signals through the inner surface of the outer conductor and vice versa through the outer surface, grants coaxial connectors significant spatial and structural advantages.

 

同軸連接器的內導體外表面和外導體內表面基本上是圓柱面-特殊情況往往是機械固定所需,而且有共同的軸線,故被稱為同軸連接器。在傳輸線(Transmission lines)形式中,同軸線纜由於它突出的優點(結構簡單,空間利用率高, 製造較容易,傳輸性能優越…)被普遍採用而產生連接同軸線纜的需求,同軸連接器便應用而生。

The outer surface of the inner conductor and the inner surface of the outer conductor in coaxial connectors are typically cylindrical, with exceptions made for mechanical fixation requirements, and they share a common axis, hence the name “coaxial” connectors. In the form of transmission lines, coaxial cables are widely adopted due to their outstanding advantages such as simple structure, high spatial efficiency, easy manufacturing, and superior transmission performance, leading to the demand for connectors to connect coaxial cables, giving rise to the application of coaxial connectors.

 

由於同軸結構的優越性,使(同軸)連接器(相對於別的連接器)特徵阻抗的連續性更容易被保證,傳輸干擾和被干擾(EMI)很低,傳輸損耗少而幾乎被用到射頻,微波領域。因為幾乎被用在高頻上,產生一些有別於其他連接器的電性能要求.

The superior structure of coaxial connectors ensures the continuity of characteristic impedance compared to other connectors, resulting in low transmission interference and susceptibility to interference (EMI), and minimal transmission loss, making them almost exclusively used in RF and microwave fields. Due to their predominant use in high-frequency applications, coaxial connectors have certain electrical performance requirements distinct from other connectors.
